Nico Hagopian is a 24-year-old journalist, photographer, and video artist from Chicago, IL. Growing up in a family that was often on the road, he found himself frequently having to entertain himself in unfamiliar environments. Through patience, curiosity, and humility, he found great joy in discovering new places and meeting new people.
Over the past few years, Nico has worked as a videographer and photographer in the Chicago music scene. With his camera in hand, he traveled across the country to various venues and festivals. During all these travels, he learned that you can always find good people, even in the shadiest of places (you just have to squint sometimes).
An American Hooligan is about encouraging people to get out into the world and push past their comfort zone. Follow Nico's travels across the American south, Europe, and wherever adventure takes him as he highlights the people, cities, and cultures he stumbles upon.
